Free tools

Three things you can do with getSnap without an account, a card or an email. Each one runs the same engine the API does.

Why the limits differ

The screenshot and accessibility tools each launch a real Chromium instance, which is seconds of CPU and hundreds of megabytes. They share one budget of six an hour per visitor, because the thing being rationed is browser launches, not uses of a particular page — six is six however you spend them.

The social preview checker only reads the tags in your markup, so it costs milliseconds and has its own allowance of twenty. Charging it against the browser budget would price a cheap thing like an expensive one.

In all three, a run that fails or is refused costs you nothing. Mistyping a URL three times should not lock you out of a tool you have never seen work.

When a tool stops being enough

Each of these is one page, once, with the options fixed. The API is the same engines with the parts a build needs — any viewport, full-page capture, PDF and video, scheduling, webhooks, and a response you can fail CI on.

A free key is 100 captures a month with no card. Get one, or read the getting started guide.
