Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free tier gives you 100 screenshots/month with no credit card required. Just sign up with your email and start capturing.
How fast are screenshots?
Average response time is under 3 seconds. Cached screenshots are served instantly via CDN. Full-page captures of complex sites may take up to 5 seconds.
What happens if I exceed my monthly limit?
You won't be cut off. Overage is billed at $0.003 per screenshot. You can also upgrade your plan anytime for a higher monthly allowance.
How does AI popup removal work?
Our system automatically detects and removes cookie banners, newsletter popups, chat widgets, and overlay modals before capturing. It uses 50+ heuristic selectors — no configuration needed.
What output formats are supported?
PNG, JPG, WebP, and PDF. You can also set custom viewports, emulate mobile devices, enable dark mode, and capture specific elements via CSS selectors.
Is there an uptime SLA?
We target 99.9% uptime. The service runs on DigitalOcean infrastructure in Frankfurt with automated health checks and restarts.
Can I capture pages behind authentication?
Not yet. Currently we support public URLs only. Authenticated captures and custom cookies are on our roadmap.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime via the billing portal (POST /v1/billing). No questions asked, no lock-in. Your API key stays active until the end of the billing period.
How does signing up for a paid plan work?
All plans start with entering your email to create an account. For free, you'll get your API key instantly. For paid plans (Starter, Pro, Business), you'll see your key and then be automatically redirected to a secure Stripe checkout page to complete payment. Your plan upgrades immediately after payment.
